Some model keypads can detect whether your gate is physically open or closed. For this functionality, your gate motor must have auxiliary relay outputs for a limit switch. This limit switch mechanically informs the gate motor if the gate is fully closed, partially open, or completely open.
There are several wiring options, but we will provide the specific inputs on the Spider board required for this setup. Your installer can then choose which inputs to use. The delay time before receiving an email notification if the gate remains open is determined by the owner. You will need to inform the Spiderdoor support team so they can configure this variable accordingly.
