Main Benefit

You want your tenants to be able to open your gate with a native built mobile app but your current access control system fails to work consistently? Better yet it never works? This module will absolutely bypass any gate access hardware you have in order to allow your tenants to open the gate, via an app provided to them by you. Spiderdoor provides that app to you! This module will also allow you, the owner to open the gate from anywhere worldwide, as long as you have an internet connection or cellular connection.

Installers Link

This link will provide your installer with everything he needs to get your keypad up and going. Installation directions that can be printed out along with every other questions he may ask. Feel free to provide this link to your potential installer as well. This will provide him with a good idea of the scope of work.

Cellular Connection

Our S14c is a standalone cellular device. It requires power (110) to function properly. The only other item required is one relay wire coming from the keypad out to the actual gate motor. This module will pull from the strongest cellular provider in your area. It is not designated to pull from one specific cellular company but has access to many.

Peak Inside Our S14c

The S14c is simple. You mount it somewhere inside your gate motor box or on the outside of the gate motor box. It has a relay wire that simply goes to the relay that tells the gate to open. It bypasses all other gate access hardware and does one thing! It allows you or you tenant to open the gate via Spider apps. The manager will be able to open the gate from anywhere worldwide. The tenant must be within 100′ to trigger the gate to open with the tenant app.

Power Adapter Is Required

If the s14c module power source ever drops below 7 volts briefly and then jumps back to normal, this will place the module in a weird state. Our adapter will force the reboot of the module. If you do not use the power adapter, this will fail to accomplish a reboot if power source, other than our power adapter, is used. You will void the warranty if our power adapter is not used. Installers sometimes feel that they can wire direct to the gate motor board. Do not allow that!

Follows Lock Out Rules Of Management Software

Our keypads will mirror what your management software shows. If your software shows a tenant as locked out, the tenant will be locked out from using the tenant app to open the gate.

All Spiderdoor hardware comes with one year warranty on any defective part of the s14c module.

Booster Antennae

Very rarely is a booster antennae required but if you cellular connection is truly awful at your location, you can add a booster antennae to the keypad. They are simple to install and they can be purchased on amazon easily (approximately $50.) Click the link below to learn more about boosters.
